PEMRA suspended BOL News’ license yesterday and all Bolwalas came out in protest.
Of course, the biggest Bolwala of all, Aamir Liaquat, came out in full force to explain the real reasons behind BOL’s suspension.
Aamir Liaquat stated that while the world was celebrating the ‘World Press Freedom Day’, BOL was suspended on the same day, showing the true face of ‘PemRAW’ (as he calls it).
Liaquat revealed that his show ‘Aisay Nahi Chalay Ga’ was banned by Pemra on the 26th of January 2017, which is the Republic Day in India.
The televangelist also claimed that some jealous people could not tolerate the fact that BOL was becoming popular.
“They could not tolerate that BOL was becoming popular, that we had announced our Ramazan transmission. BOL will soon launch their newspapers and the entertainment channel ‘Pak Live’. They couldn’t digest this.”
Aamir Liaquat ended his sermon with,
Now the war is on. Now we will see how long this suspension lasts.
