Based on a Sindhi folktale, Moomal Rano is a 90-minute long film following the love story of Jamaal and Nigar, played by Ahsan Khan and Saba Qamar.

Set in modern day, this war of love against hatred will make these two childhood lovers stand up against the whole world to be with each other. A film so rich in love and culture with two amazing actors is definitely a must-watch!

Being their second project together after Dastaan, our two superstars, Ahsan Khan and Saba Qamar, were lauded for their performance in Moomal Rano, that perfectly depicts our cultural richness.

Successfully screened at Zee5 International Film Festival, Moomal Rano also stars Salman Saeed and Zainab Jameel other than Ahsan and Saba.

Zee 5 is considered as India’s largest multilingual entertainment platform and this festival aims to bridge the gap with Indian and Pakistani filmmakers by screening films from each side, every week.

“Extraordinary together” being the philosophy of Zee5, these shorts films are produced to encourage diversity, promote peace and change the perception of people, given the current situation between the two countries.

Other than Siraj-ul-Haque’s Moomal Rano, 5 others short films by Pakistani filmmakers includes Meenu – Farjad’s Jeewan Haathi and Mehreen Jabbar’s Lala Begum.
