Ali Zafar Urges Imran Khan To Build More Multiplexes

After suffering almost two decades of decline, it is good to see that the locally produced flicks are doing well, not only in national cinemas but at the international level as well.

A significant growth has been observed due to the high-quality content of the local flicks including Jawani Phir Nahi Ani 2, Load Wedding and Parwaaz Hai Junoon.

Despite so many challenges and hurdles, Pakistani cinema is going through a revival while giving a huge benefit to the economy of Pakistan. But still, there are some of the areas in the country where there is a dire need for multiplex cinemas.

To highlight the need, the Pakistani rockstar Ali Zafar took to his Twitter account and requested the newly appointed Prime Minister Imran Khan to build more cinemas in Peshawar.

He wrote:

So heartening to see our cinema industry blossom with huge numbers pouring in on Eid. Love all like you loved #TeefaInTrouble so each can set its record. Only united we can re-build our industry that went to rubbles due lack attention and the right spirit…

He also tagged Imran Khan and requested again:

@ImranKhanPTI  need cinemas in Peshawar.

Now we are all curious to see if Imran Khan considers Ali Zafar’s request or not.
