With high hopes, I watched Atif Aslam’s latest song ‘Hoor’ for Bollywood movie Hindi Medium. Sadly, my dreams were crushed. The song only makes me want to sway to the tune and wait for a better track to come along.
I think this may be the first time I have not liked a song by Atif.
Surprised? So am I.
Despite my dislike of the song, I’m sure it will turn into a chartbuster, simply because Atif Aslam sang it.
Featuring Saba Qamar & Irrfan Khan in the lead roles, Hindi Medium is set to release on the 12th of May. The song has been shot in Tbilisi, Georgia. It explores the on-screen couple’s childhood love, and how it blossomed into a familial relationship.
Hoor has been composed by Sachin Jigar, whereas the lyrics have been written by Priya Saraiya.
