Two of Bollywood’s darling superstars, Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt are all set to reunite for a sequel of ‘Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhaniya’. Titled, Badrinath Ki Dulhania, the movie will be produced under the banner of Dharma Productions. The rom-com introduced its cast in a fun-filled animated video released today.

The super hit couple has previously shown amazing on-screen chemistry in commercially hit movies like Student of the Year and Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania. The movie will be directed by Shashank Khaitan and will begin shooting in a few days. The movie’s cast shared their excitement in a series of Tweets on social media. Alia and Varun also shared a quirky video to announce the movie on Twitter.

The team will also reportedly shoot in Kota and Jhansi and the actors will sport a desi avatar with a North Indian accent. “It’s a fresh story set against a rural backdrop up North. Alia and Varun will be seen in completely new avatars. Shashank locked the script last year and has been conducting reading workshops with the leads for a month now,” a source told Mumbai Mirror.
