Rajnikanth and Akshay Kumar’s upcoming movie 2.0 is considered to be the second most expensive movie of Bollywood. The makers of this movie have closed the deal with a private channel for the satellite rights worth a lot of money.
According to the media, Zee TV Network has purchased the satellite rights of this movie in different languages such as Tamil, Telagu and Hindi for an unrealistic price.
The amount they have paid is 110 crores.
Wow! This is thought to be the highest price ever paid for a regional movie in Bollywood.
Creative Head of Lyca Productions Raju Mahalingam, admitted that they have spent this much over the movie, he did not reveal the exact details of the deal, though. He confirmed that he has formed a partnership with Zee.
He posted about this on his Twitter account:

According to reports, the budget of this movie is around 400 crores because of the special effects. The movie will be made in 3D, whereas Akshay Kumar is the antagonist of the movie.
It is claimed that this movie will be the most expensive movie of India and the second most costly movie of Asia. The film has only a song left to shoot, now let’s see if the spending would be worth it or not? 2.0 will release soon, this Diwali!
