Given the recent ban by the Indian Motion Picture Producers Association (IMPPA) on all Pakistani actors, musicians, and technicians from performing in India till the relationship between the two countries become favorable; the Pakistani artists have returned back to their homeland.
However, we reckon Bollywood will greatly miss these Pakistani artists considering how popular and well received they are in India.

Mawra Hocane
This actress made her debut in the movie Sanam Teri Kasam, and while the movie itself was not very well received, the actress was praised for her performance; being called “a natural scene stealer” and appearing “delectably feminine” .
Shafqat Amanat Ali
Shafqat Amanat Ali made his Bollywood debut by singing the hit song Mitwa for the movie Kabhi Alvida Na Kehna. It propelled the singer to stardom and he went on to sing a number of other Bollywood hit songs such as Honsla from the movie Dor.
Atif Aslam
Atif Aslam has a huge fan following in India. The singer has lent his voice to a number of Bollywood tracks over the last few years. He has performed at several concerts in India and has also been a judge on Indian reality television shows
Ali Zafar
Ali made his film debut starring in the Indian film, Tere Bin Laden which was mostly positively received in India, though banned in Pakistan. Ali Zafar’s acting was called “sharp” and the actor received a number of award nominations for Best Male Debut nominations including IIFA Awards, Zee Cine Awards, Filmfare Awards and Screen Awards.
Rahat Fateh Ali
He made his Bollywood debut with the song Laal and Maan Ki Lagaan in the movie Paap. He was set on a path to not only record many hit songs for Indian movies but also appear as a judge for the show Chotte Ustaad 2 and Junoon Kuck Kar Ke Dikhana Hai.
Mahira Khan
Mahira has made her debut with the movie Raees starring opposite Shahrukh Khan. The movie is set to release in 2017 and we are curious to see how it will do. Mahira has already garnered a fan base across the border, some complimenting her gorgeous looks and others her simplicity.
Fawad Afzal Khan
This superstar has made his mark in Bollywood with some high profile films all of which have received positive reviews. He made his debut with the film Khoobsurat opposite Sonam Kapoor; winning the award for Filmfare Award for Best Male Debut. He again received wide acclaim for his portrayal of a troubled writer in the family drama Kapoor and sons. Next up is Ae Dil Hai Mushkil, which won’t be the same without Fawad for sure!
