Drake has shared new details about his highly anticipated album, “Scorpion,” revealing that it will release this month, while sharing a video for “I’m Upset” that finds him reuniting with the cast of “Degrassi.”
Drake, who previously starred in the Canadian high-school drama series “Degrassi,” is joined in the cinematic video by fellow former cast members including Nina Dobrev, Ephraim Ellis and many more.
Famous characters Jay and Silent Bob, from Kevin Smith’s universe, also make an appearance in the clip.
The new video is directed by Karena Evans, who also helmed Drake’s videos for “God’s Plan” and “Nice For What,” the latter of which was released recently and featured Olivia Wilde, Tracee Ellis Ross and other famous faces.
“Scorpion,” meanwhile, Drake’s follow-up to last year’s LP “More Life,” has been slated for release on June 29. The rapper shared the news in an Instagram post that also features new artwork, which may or may not be the cover of the forthcoming album.
