A Pakistani documentary titled ‘Armed with Faith’ received an award at Emmy Awards ceremony under the category for Outstanding Politics and Government Documentary.

The ceremony took place in New York on Tuesday night and the whole nation sent its love to the makers of the film.

The documentary was directed by Asad Faruqi and Geeta Gandbhir which revolves around the risky struggle by the bomb disposal unit in order to protect Pakistan against the Taliban and Al Qaeda militants.

Soon after receiving the award, Asad Faruqi shred his experience about his journey and said:

 “It was always that I was on the other side of the lens and not represented, which is one of the reasons why we went out and ventured and wanted to tell the story of this incredible bomb disposal squad whose determination to save humanity was very inspiring and it was a story I felt had to be shared.”

Well, we are really happy that Pakistani are now leaving the whole world awestruck with their talents.
