Fawad Khan isn’t someone who can be ignored or forgotten easily. The hunky looking actor left Bollywood spell-bounded with chocolate boy charm and precision acting. And it seems like Bollywood is nowhere ready to let go of this Khan.
Recently at IIFA Awards 2017, Bollywood director Shakun Batra, who worked with Fawad Khan in his last movie Kapoor & Sons, said he hopes things will be fine between India and Pakistan soon and they will be able to collaborate once again on films.
The critically acclaimed director said he is still in touch with Fawad and misses working with him.
“I spoke to him (Fawad) yesterday. I miss him and I wish he was here. Last year, we both were here together at IIFA. Unfortunately, we all know what happened.”
Like millions of Indians and Pakistanis, the director too hoped for cordial relationships between the two neighbouring countries. He said,
“In the long run, lets hope both the countries can again become friends and collaborate,”
Shakun Batra’s family drama, Kapoor & Sons, starring Fawad Khan in a controversial homosexual character alongside Siddharth Malhotra, Alia Bhatt and Rishi Kapoor became a successful movie with many fans praising Fawad Khan’s performance.
The Pakistani actor was in the middle of signing big-budgeted Bollywood movies with Karan Johar and Salman Khan but unfortunately, had to return to Pakistan after political tension between the two countries aggravated last year.
But that didn’t faze Fawad Khan’s passion for acting. The Humsafar-famed actor will soon be seen in upcoming Pakistani movies Maula Jutt 2 and Albela Rahi.
