Five Pakistani Movies Make It To The SCO Film Festival In China

The Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) Film Festival in China has officially kicked off and what excites us the most is that five Pakistani movies will be showcased at the festival.

The local flicks that made it to this international festival are Jawani Phir Nahi Ani, Punjab Nahi Jaungi, Parchi, Bin Roye and Chalay Thay Saath and we could not be any prouder.

The lead cast of Chalay Thay Sath has already reached the festival which is creating all rounds on social media.

Syra Shahroz along with her co-star S Leung were spotted at the festival sitting behind famous Hollywood actor and martial artist Jackie Chan.

Look how they are having the time of their life there!

The cast of another Pakistani movie Jawani Phir Nahi Ani is also on its way to attend the event. Humayun Saeed took to his Twitter account and shared a selfie with Mehwish Hayat with the caption:

Off to China for a film festival along with our films #JawaniPhirNahiAni and #punjabnahijaungi

It is reported that the film festival is co-hosted by the State Film Administration and Shandong provincial government.

The SCO has now China, Pakistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and India as its official members.

We are just so proud to see that our Pakistani stars are representing us in international forums and making a positive change.
