The second day of Fashion Pakistan Week Winter Festive 2016 took place on the 31st of October at Pearl Continental, Karachi. With a lineup of 20 of the best and trendy fashion designers, the show promised to display true Pakistani culture through their work whilst attuning to the season.
Make-up for Day-2 of Fashion Pakistan Week Winter Festive 2016 was done by the creative team at N-Pro for the female models whereas the male models were groomed by N-Gents. The event is being directed by the Fashion Pakistan Council and the photography was done by Tapu Javeri. FPC welcomed Urdu 1 as official Event and Media Partner, TDAP as the official hospitality partner, Coca Cola as the official beverage partner, Patio the official food partner, FM91 the official radio partner and Daraz.pk as Welcome Gift Partner.

Show Opener: Shehla Chatoor
Shehla Chatoor opened up the show with her effortlessly beautiful collection, as expected by her. The entire collection was covered in intricate and fine embroidery.
FnkAsia by Huma Adnan
This collection titled, ‘Midnight Garden’, mixed it up by showcasing a blend of florals with rich colours and pastels sticking to the romantic winter theme.
Bridal Showcase: HEM title ‘Golden Cage’
Sumbul Asif’s collection ‘Golden Cage’ was full of volatile pieces that could be featured at any event such as a party or even a wedding with the use of an array of materials including silk, chiffon, and net.
Arsalan Iqbal collection named ‘Baroque Star’
This menswear collection ‘Baroque Star’ by The House of Arsalan was inspired by the 16th century Baroque paintings and architecture as noted by its dark and complex details.
Bridal Showcase: Natasha Kamal
This collection by Natasha Kamal is a step away from the conventional pieces adding modernity, which is noted by the voluminous skirts and handiwork. Looking closely you can see the intentional message of structure and imagery within the pieces.
Celebration of Love by The House of Deepak Perwani
Celebrating love, this collection by ‘The House of Deepak Perwani’ displayed a wide array of vivid colours whilst paying ode to the gold as featured on the work.
Fashion Pakistan Council was founded in 2007 and was made for the designers, by the designers. It promotes education, empowerment, encouragement and designers both locally and internationally. Since the very first Fashion Pakistan Week, held in 2010, there have been annual events, twice a year, they have launched many designers and provided opportunities for artists everywhere.
