Bidding farewell to yet another year, Google has released the list of most searched movies in Pakistan in 2018.

The animated flick ‘The Donkey King’ remains the only Pakistani film among the top trending movies in the country for the year. The movie was ranked at number 6 followed by Hollywood movies, Avengers Infinity War and Black Panther.

Credit for it also goes to the film’s marketing team which created ample buzz around the film before its release.
Surprisingly though, some of the best box office performers of the year like Jawani Phir Nahi Ani 2, Load Wedding, Teefa in Trouble and others failed to capture a spot.
But there is also no doubt regarding the fact that The Donkey King was also a mega-hit which managed to make over Rs 23 crores at the box office.
