Humaima Malick made a glamorous yet forgettable debut in Bollywood with Emraan Hashmi starrer Raja Natwalal. The movie, unfortunately, failed to do anything for her career in B-town.
What most of us don’t know is Humaima’s debut Bollywood movie wasn’t supposed to be Raja Natwarlal. It was, in fact, a gritty drama opposite Sanjay Dutt. The movie, then titled Sher, came to a sudden halt when Sanjay Dutt was jailed for his long-held cases.
Now that Dutt is back in the game, there are fair chances that Humaima Malick will get a second opportunity to prove her prowess as an actor rather than just a glamorous side-kick for the hero.
Lately, Humaima has been pretty excited about the movie. She shared some snaps from the movie shoot with the crew featuring Sanjay Dutt, Paresh Rawal, Vivek Oberoi among others. Malick wrote:
“A HUGE shoutout to this dream team! These people, God! These people and their passion know no limitations. No amount of challenges can bring this bunch down. Being away from home in this desert heat did not alter their energy for one bit. I’d do it all over again with each one of you any given day! @dutt1 @pareshrawalg @vivekoberoi @sohamshah19 @akifilyasofficial also the man behind the camera who shot me beautifully @cinematicsindia Sir Santosh thundiyil!!!! and many more missing in this picture will be posting more. #SARMANMUJHA”
The film which has been shot in Jaipur, Gujarat and Rajasthan has been directed by Soham Shah of KAAL. It was supposed to release back in 2012 but is still in waiting. Here’s Humaima’s look for the movie. She plays the role of Dutt’s wife.
As for her Pakistani ventures. Humaima Malick will soon be seen in Shaan Shahid’s Arth.
