This Bollywood Actress Is ‘Genuinely Interested In Learning Urdu’


She has Sri Lankan routes, she grew up in Bahrain and is currently slaying Bollywood with her vivacious personality. Yep, we’re talking about Jacqueline Fernandez.

Hindi may not be her mother tongue but Jacqueline Fernandez never let that interfere with her performance. She started taking proper Urdu lesson while shooting for Kick movie opposite Salman Khan and is now looking to polish her Urdu-speaking skills.

Expressing her interest in the language, she said,

“I have a genuine interest to learn Urdu, a language that sounds so beautiful. At times, I read something and if I find any word that sounds interesting, I note it down, learn it and try to incorporate it in my conversation.

The Kick actor will next be seen in Siddharth Malhotra starrer, Gentleman where she has a lot of action sequences to do. “I think action comes to me very naturally and I wish to do more action in future,” she said. The film also has a scene where she has to pick up the gun and shoot people. “Finally I got a chance to do action.”

She will also be seen in the remake of 90s hit Judwaa opposite Varun Dhawan. Watch the trailer for the movie here:
