Jennifer Garner, David Tennant and Juliette Lewis take an eventful trip in “Camping,” a new comedy show heading to HBO this fall.
HBO has released a teaser trailer for “Camping,” giving viewers a taste of what’s to come when the network’s upcoming comedy premieres, October 14. The show also sees Jennifer Garner return to the small screen.
Jennifer Garner rose to stardom playing a CIA double agent in “Alias,” the J.J.-Abrams-created series that ran from 2001 to 2006 on ABC. Twelve years down the line, the former Sydney Bristow steps into a new role as Kathryn, the obsessively organized and aggressively controlling wife of Walt. To celebrate Walt’s birthday, the couple head off on a four-night camping trip in the great outdoors. But things take an unexpected turn when they are joined by some uninvited guests.
Jennifer Garner stars alongside the former “Doctor Who,” David Tennant, and Juliette Lewis (“Wayward Pines”), in this series from Lena Dunham and Jenni Konner — the duo behind the HBO comedy, “Girls,” which ended in 2017.
The eight-episode limited series premieres October 14 on HBO.
