Last month, the writer was being called out for abusing a feminist and a journalist, Marvi Sirmed on a live show. The panel that included Khalil-ur-Rehman, Marvi Sirmed and JUIF’s spokesperson were discussing ‘Mera Jism Meri Marzi’ slogan in regards to the Aurat March where Rehman uttered horrendous slurs during the argument on the national television.

Rehman believes his critics have very little influence. They can’t do much about the appreciation he receives from the audience for his work or his popularity. Rehman believes the critics are just harming themselves by actively indulging in such activities.
