Mahira Khan’s Bollywood debut ‘Raees’ has joined the INR 200-crore club, from the worldwide box-office. The film, within six days of its release collected INR 62.56 crore, according to a report from Times of India. Raees crossed the INR 100-crore mark on Jan 31st, soon after the release of the film.

Producer Ritesh Sidhwani commented,
“It has been a perfect combination. It seems that all efforts have come to fruition. Hence, we want to celebrate this occasion with everyone who has been part of this journey,” according to the news outlet.
Raees opened on January 25 in Bollywood, and stars romance king Shah Rukh Khan and Pakistani glorious model-actress Mahira Khan, alongside Nawazuddin Siddiqui.
The film became an unstoppable force in the domestic market with a gross collection that stood at INR 152.61 crore, approximately.
Besides hitting the box office with the highest ever weekend collection, the film also made it to the list of the top 5 earning films of Shah Rukh Khan, later that month.
The Rahul Dholakia directed film broke a number of records claiming the number one spot at the 2017 Indian box office.
