The cheerful, yet childish Mawra Hocane has taken Pakistan – and India by storm! With her tear-stained eyes in Indian movie Sanam Teri Kasam, or her portrayal of helplessness in Pakistani drama Sammi, Mawra has proved her acting chops!
According to the grapevine, Mawra has had a small injury to her nose, while shooting for Sammi. The incident occurred in Rahim Yar Khan. A Pakistani fashion magazine posted the news on Instagram, with a caption detailing the news.

Mawra posted a photo on Instagram, just yesterday, confirming the nose injury:
Mawra Hocane’s new drama ‘Sammi’ is a social cause based serial, airing on Hum TV, in collaboration with the Johns Hopkins University. Adnan Siddique will play the villain, while the Baachana singer, Bilal Khan, is making his acting debut.
Sammi raises the curtain on several social issues such as the heinous crime of ‘vani’, the ignorance of maternal and child healthcare and female inheritance laws. Sammi is the journey of different female characters who rise above traditional and social barriers and find within them the courage to claim their rights and end their silent suffering.
