Last week, Bollywood’s famous singer Mika Singh created waves around the country after his performance at a wedding in Pakistan.
Unsurprisingly, the singer was banned by All India Cine Workers Association (AICWA) two days following his concert and news left everyone shocked.
The association issued a statement in which it was written:
It was deeply pained and anguished by the performance of singer Mika Singh alias Amrik Singh at the wedding of the daughter of former Pakistan President Pervez Musharraf’s cousin in Karachi, amid tension and broken relations between India and Pakistan.
However, Mika Singh finally broke silence over the decision of his ban and said that he made a mistake and will also apologise to his fans and followers in India.
He took to his Twitter account and wrote:
I would like to sincerely thank Mr. BN Tiwari and #FWICE for being so understanding towards me and my sentiments. As I always have done, I will continue to do good for my society and the people of my Country. JaiHind 🙏🏻
