Soon after his address, many Twitteratis started bashing him for passing a ‘sexist’ remark to the chairman of PPP.

Famous comedian Ali Gul Pir took to his Twitter account and wrote:

Calling someone a girl is not an insult. It just petty, sexist and hateful. @ImranKhanPTI  you are our Prime Minister and such language will only encourage hate and intolerance. Please stick to politics and not 3rd grade name calling #بلاول_صاحبہ

However, there were a number of celebrities as well who supported Imran Khan and praised him for his speech. Similarly, the controversial queen Veena Malik said:

In fact…You have to go down to their level to make some people understand things…!!!

She added:

Lowest is the level of opposition and Imran Khan knows what language they understand…Khan knows what he’s doing.
