The  details of the awards were shared on social media by the officials and they wrote:

For audience favourite best feature, the winner is CAKE The Film, the Oscar nominee from Pakistan. For audience favourite Best Documentary Feature the winner is SALAM – the film about the first Pakistani ****** Nobel Laureate.

The eighth edition of the movie gala represented a diverse mix of feature films, short films, and documentaries, which include films from India, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Pakistan, Nepal, and Afghanistan.

The credit also goes to the entire cast and the leads ‘Sanam Saeed, Aamina Sheikh, Mohammed Ahmed, and Adnan Malik’ for delivering stellar performances in the movie.

The entire entertainment industry is thrilled with the development. Celebrities are rejoicing over the massive feat and are rooting for the film to make it the international level.

This is not the first time that a Pakistani movie has wowed the international audience. Movies like Punjab Nahi Jaongi, Jawani Phir Nahi Ani, Parchi, Bin Roye, Chalay Thay Saath and other has also made it to the international forums.

We are just so proud to see that our superstars are representing Pakistan in such forums and changing the negative aspect of Pakistan into a positive one.
