Eros Now, the leading OTT platform of Eros International Plc, has released the trailer of “Salute Siachen”. It’s India’s first ever celebrity expedition in which nine well-known celebrities from different backgrounds are coming together to pay tribute to the Indian Army by climbing the highest battleground. The amazing journey flagged off on the momentous occasion of Siachen Expedition’s 35th anniversary.
Bollywood actors such as Arjun Rampal, Arunoday Singh, cricketer Rudra Pratap Singh and hockey player Yuvraj Walmiki, VJ turned actor Rannvijay Singh along with Namrata Gujaran, Hasan Zaidi, Shlok Sharma and Sonnalli Seygall participated in this 20-day event that began in Leh. The idea behind this excursion was for these privileged folk to have a chance to display their patriotism and to expose themselves to similar ailments as the soldiers who operate these posts in the harsh conditions.
The makers have just released the trailer for this chilling adventure, which showed the actors sharing their experience about this journey. This trailer displays shots of the beautiful ice caps and scenic landscapes that are a treasure of India.
Looking back at his experience, Arjun Rampal said,
“‘Salute Siachen has been a life changing experience for me. The power of nature, the solitude a person feels, the sacrifices our soldiers make, (and) the conditions they live under. This initiative by Eros Now has been so satisfying as we got to thank and embrace our brave soldiers who gave us a glimpse into their lives. At the same time, they allowed me to launch my campaign for my foundation to beat cancer.”

The Saltoro Man (the mountain range on display is called the Saltoro, which sounds like Marlboro. This information is merely to preempt those pedantic twits, who should pray to god and technology, they never run into me. Ever.
