Sanam Saeed’s New Drama To Focus On Mental Health


Sanam Saeed, the powerhouse performer is collaborating with Udaari-famed Kashf Foundation and Sarmad Khoosat for her upcoming project, temporarily titled Akhri Station.

Kashf Foundation’s earlier project, Udaari became a benchmark work for TV entertainment due to its brilliant portrayal of taboo issues in our society. Keeping with the social theme, the upcoming miniseries will also focus on mental health and depression.

Talking about her role, Saeed said:

“My character’s story is based on handling mental health challenges and spreading awareness about depression,”

Produced and directed by Sarmad Khoosat, directed and produced by Sarmad Khoosat, the story will revolve around seven women who meet on a train. The mini series contains the story of each of those seven women.

The cast will also include Mikaal Zulfiqar, Anam Gohar and a few new faces.

As the project is currently under production, the channel where it will be aired has yet to be decided.
