Mawra Hocane’s film Sanam Teri Kasam released in Pakistan on the 5th of February with over 100 shows in three major cities. The average occupancy is quite decent considering it’s a low budget production and debut leads.
Pakistani film supported Mawra’s Bollywood feature to rise occupancy rate up to 70-80% at local cinemas. The movie also had the advantage of releasing on a national holiday.

Hocane’s debut love story swooped in over 50 lakhs approximately on 1st day with larger contribution from Lahore but most sold seats were recorded in Islamabad.
