‘Ghost in the Shell’ is the live-action version of the mid-90s anime of the same name. It has been in the headlines because of the controversial casting of Scarlett Johansson. While anime fans might be miffed over the casting choice, they can not help themselves from eagerly waiting to watch their beloved series come to life on the silver screen.
Why? Well, the story has definitely caught our eyes.
In the year 2029, Japanese cyborg Major Motoko Kusanagi and her task force Section 9, get entangled in the web of political cyber crimes and espionages as they chase down a ghost hacker. Each step takes them further away from the identity of mysterious Puppetmaster, who holds all the string.
So who exactly is this villain?

Other than what promises to be a visual feast for the eyes in regards to all high-tech gear that will be featured in the film. It promises to ask some important questions about the human vs machine debate that our era faces every day.
