Fashion’s new favourite face, Selena Gomez will be seen in VOGUE’s September issue. The 24-year-old pop sensation will be opening up about her relationship with the high-fashion society. The diva has confessed that she was not always the first choice in the industry. The star who currently fronts a Louis Vuitton campaign shared, “Let’s just say I wasn’t always the [designers’] top choice”
The songstress posed for the issue looking chic and effortless as ever in a striped shirt on the beach shot by photographer Angelo Pennetta. The star who is in demand found her place with the creative director of Louis Vuitton , Nicholas Ghesquière the old fashioned way who was “immediately intrigued by her spontaneity and curiosity” by the star.
Selena’s stylist, Kate Young told the mag: “Vuitton especially can be tricky—it’s futuristic; it has straps all over it. But Selena’s version looks young and cool and less conceptual. She makes fashion suit her demeanor.”
Selena added, “I like to find things that are unconventional and make them look classic,” “because if I’m forcing something, you can just tell.”
The star was recently making rounds on the internet for using Justin Bieber for fame after Justin left a reply on his Instagram saying, “It’s funny to see people that used me for attention and still try to point the finger this way.” he added,“Sad. All love.”
