‘Moor’ star Shaz Khan, throws caution to the wind as he heads out for flying lessons.
The actor made his debut with the Pakistani film Moor, for which he was lauded by the critics. He later appeared in Dobara Phir Say, where he portrayed a completely different character. Now, the actor risks it all for his next.
Khan will soon be seen in the role of an F-16 pilot for his upcoming film Parwaaz Hay Junoon. However, the actor who suffers from acrophobia, fear of heights was afraid that this tiny detail might cause a problem once the shoot begins.
So he decided to finally conquer his demons by taking flying lessons.
Here’s what he had to say when asked about his decision,
“Yaar, the only thing I had in mind was that it was a bad idea.”
He further added,
“But then, I was like you gotta do what you gotta do in life. I dive towards my fears and try to overcome them because that helps you grow as an artist.”
The journey he set out on helped him learn a lot about his character.
“I want to be able to hook into the character and actually feel the sensation.” He said, “As soon as I got the controls, I started shivering, and as soon as I inverted the aircraft, I could feel the breakfast coming up in my throat. Man, I learned a lot!”
Isn’t it amazing how one role can make you do what once was impossible?
We hope that this victory over his phobia is an indication of ‘Parwaaz Hai Junoon’ passing the audience’s expectations with flying colours.
