Superstar Salman Khan and director Kabir Khan reunite for their third film together after Ek Tha Tiger and Bajrangi Bhaijaan, titled Tubelight.
While talking about his next project with Salman Khan, the director revealed that the film is going to be a mix of comedy, a little bit of drama and politics.
“My films always have a political backdrop to them because that’s what excites me and I find real. So Tube Light also has a little political backdrop.” told the director.

Kabir further revealed that Tubelight will be similar to his last film. “In terms of its emotional space, it is similar to Bajrangi Bhaijaan. But the story is very different. It is more of humour and emotional space that we (Salman and I) haven’t delved into.”
Salman is said to go through a ‘journey of enlightenment’ while traveling from India to China in the film.
The first look of Tubelight is a closeup shot of Salman Khan with his back to the camera. He is seen dressed as a soldier with a gun and a backpack on the battlefield.
