Remember Ali Sethi’s hit song ‘Umran Langiyaan’ that he crooned alongside Nabeel Shaukat Ali in Coke Studio?
The track was an instant hit and has garnered more than four million views till date.
Well, this soulful tune has made Sethi bag yet another major accolade!
The singer took to his Instagram and revealed his success story that a Pakistani-American lawyer, Rabia Chaudhry had heard Sethi’s cover of Umran Langiyaan. She was apparently researching for the HBO documentary “The Case Against Adnan Syed” that is produced by Jemima Khan’s company. Rabia was so impressed by his voice that she suggested Sethi’s track to become a part of the project.
According to Dawn Images, only Sethi’s portion of the eight-minute song will be in the second episode of the documentary
We can’t be more proud of Ali Sethi!
