Bollywood actress Vidya Balan doesn’t need any introduction … the star performer has been delivering hits ever since her film debut in Parineeta (2005). Her notable hits include Lagay Raho Munna Bhai, Bhool Bhulaiyaa, Kismat Konnection, Paa, Ishqiya, The Dirty Picture & Begum Jaan and she is all set to recreate her magic with an upcoming film Tumhari Sulu where she plays a housewife-turned-Radio Jockey who becomes quite famous due to her antics.
What people in Pakistan don’t remember that right after the release of her debut flick Parineeta, Vidya Balan visited Pakistan to participate in a book reading session for a friend. The actress stayed in Karachi for a day and was amazed at the similarity between the two countries. When asked in an exclusive chat with Very Filmi about the possibility to revisiting Pakistan in the future, the veteran actress nodded in a positive note.
‘I had a great time when I visited Karachi 11 years back, but at that time I was just a film old and only those people who had seen Parineeta were able to recognize me. I didn’t get the time after that as I got busy with my work but yes, the plan to visit Pakistan is surely on the cards. In fact my husband (Siddharth Roy Kapoor) is interested in visiting the beautiful city of Lahore as it has both historical and magical touch (laughs). Of course I would love to accompany him when he pays a visit because mera bhi bohat mann hai (I am also quite interested); Inshallah we will give you a chance to play hosts, again.
Vidya Balan’s Tumhari Sulu is all set for a release on 17th November 2017.
